Please join us for our annual Earth Day Cleanup with your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.
Working together, we are making positive change in New Bedford!

PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE

Check-in begins at 8:30am under the tent at the City Parking Lot between Sawyer & Beetle Streets, one block south of Acushnet Avenue.

ALL VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE:

  • FREE breakfast provided by Comcast
  • FREE t-shirts
  • FREE reusable water bottles (while supplies last)
  • FREE lunch provided by Domino’s Pizza

SUPPLIES PROVIDED:

Kids under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

  • Earn Community Service hours

 


This year, we’re being hosted by Comcast in partnership with Groundwork Southcoast.


On Saturday, April 21st, Comcast NBCUniversal will celebrate its year-round commitment to volunteerism and making change happen in local communities during their 17th annual Comcast Cares Day.
More than 100,000 volunteers, including employees, their friends, families, and our nonprofit partners, will join together in the communities where they live and work to Be One in a Million and make a positive diff
erence.

Groundwork Southcoast works collaboratively to develop current and future leadership to steward urban waterways and brownfields in environmental justice communities in southeastern Massachusetts.
