In the the last 14 years, over 7800 volunteers have donated more than 26,000 hours of service to New Bedford to remove over 87 tons of trash from our neighborhoods and shoreline…and we’re not done yet!

2020 will kick off our 15th year of litter cleanups

In April, Operation Clean Sweep will be part of a collaborative in New Bedford, joining the worldwide recognition of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day with a few million of our closest friends around the world, please plan to join us for our Earth Day Cleanup.
Watch for details about a wide variety of local Earth Day activities designed to engage even more people to take action in the fight against pollution and climate change.
